Roger and Trish would like to welcome you to our stylishly appointed Bed and Breakfast in the pretty village of Saltford,4 miles from Bath and 8 miles from Bristol.Our rooms have Tea/Coffee making facilities,T.V.,WiFi internet access, and large en-suite modern shower rooms one of which also has a jacuzzi bath. Saltford village has excellent pubs and restaurants,a scenic cycle track joining Bath and Bristol,riverside walks,an 18 hole golf course and is only 5 minutes from Avon Valley Country Park.Bus services to both Bath and Bristol are good ,so leave your car at the B & B and avoid the traffic and parking problems.
Southwood House is conveniently situated between the historic Port of Bristol (8 miles) and the Roman City of Bath (5 miles) - a place where tired travellers can lay down their weary heads and enjoy relaxing countryside surroundings. With easy reach of the M4 Motorway (Junction 18)approx 6 miles. All rooms are en-suite (with either 1 twin room/double and 1 Double room in the main house and one double room in the converted barn adjacent to the property). A delicious full English breakfast is cooked using only local, organically sourced produce and fresh eggs from our own hens. The Barn annexe is available for a minimum two night stay and includes separate power shower & bath, fully equipped kitchen and lounge area with widescreen television and DVD player as well as broadband Wi-Fi Internet access.
